Here are 4 new pieces that I finished with the help of Jeff Fennell. They are stills from a short film Jeff made. Each picture he carefully set up in his own bathroom, covering his walls and fixtures with graphite, and then spraying homemade 'blood' on the walls and letting it pool in areas. The effect is hauntingly beautiful. Needless to say, it took him a long time to clean his bathroom after the shots were taken!

Jeff gave me these images and left the concept open. I had them printed on 13" x 19" Inkpress Watercolour Rag and fixed the images so that I could paint on them. Then I just layered acrylics slowly into the prints, so as not to disturb the inks. I wanted them to look like mini crime scenes...with little peaceful clues in the midst. I love how they turned out.
